Pirelli Tire North America Inc. is recalling certain Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires that were made between June 2007 and July 2009.
The tires are size 285/35ZR19 99Y (IP 1778200 left and IP 1778300 right). According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), "partial tread and/or belt edge separation can occur at high speeds at and over 169 miles per hour," which could result in vehicle crash.
NHTSA says Pirelli "has not yet provided (it) with a remedy and notification schedule."
