Atturo Tire Corp. will showcase its AZ800 performance tire at the 2009 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, which will be held in Las Vegas, Nev., Nov. 2-6.
The D.O.T.-approved, middle-market tire was introduced at the CITExpo Shanghai show in September; this will be its debut in North America.
The AZ800's marketing slogan, "Performance within reach," is especially true because it is manufactured in Taiwan and not China.
“While the 'Obama tax' on Chinese tires is disastrous for the independent dealer and the U.S. consumer, we believe Atturo is well positioned to help both parties," says President Don Mathis. "We can offer a much higher quality tire at a very competitive price point.
"Atturo will help keep performance within reach for the U.S. tire dealer and consumer.
The Atturo AZ800 is available in 15 20- through 24-inch sizes. The size range covers most popular plus-size fitments for SUVs, sport trucks and crossover vehicles.
Four new sizes are in development for production in early 2010. Exclusive distribution territories on a factory direct basis are available, adds the company.
