Thailand-based Vee Rubber Corp. Ltd. has rolled out three new tires, including two winter tires, for the U.S. market.
All three are on display at this week's Specialty Equipment Market Association Show in Las Vegas, Nev. They include the Winter Season III, which is available as both a passenger and light truck tire; the Taiga Ice Axe, a studdable light truck tire; and the Vitron H/V, a high-performance all-season tire that comes with a 40,000-mile warranty.
Patrick Hyland, a Vee spokesman, says the company is pleased with its progress in the U.S. over the last 12 months. "After launching our brand last year, we now have distribution... our focus is on larger tire dealers with 20 or more stores who are capable of buying direct container loads. We find that large dealers take the brand on as their own."
