Federal-Mogul Corp. has expanded its Champion Iridium automotive spark plug line to cover an additional 7.5 million late-model passenger vehicles.

“Performance Driven” Champion Iridium plugs are now available for 97% of North American passenger cars, vans, light trucks and sport-utility vehicles that were originally equipped with iridium technology.

Federal-Mogul’s latest expansion of the Champion Iridium line includes seven new part numbers that cover late-model Acura, BMW, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jeep, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Saturn, Suzuki and Volkswagen applications.

Every Champion Iridium spark plug is engineered to meet application-specific operating requirements that match the original equipment iridium plug and provides long-lasting performance, says Federal-Mogul. The new plugs are available through any Champion spark plug distributor and are backed by the brand’s seven-year, unlimited mileage guarantee.

“These Champion Iridium spark plugs are engineered and manufactured in a state-of-the-art U.S.-based Federal-Mogul facility equipped to deliver the OE-equivalent or better product quality standards and performance preferred by today’s vehicle owners,” said Champion Product Manager Joe Cirino.
