Miller Tire will acquire 25% stake in TireCraft

Nov. 16, 2009

Dartmouth, Nova Scotia-based Miller Tire has signed an agreement with TireCraft Canada that will see Miller acquire a 25% stake in TireCraft and become the exclusive marketer of the TireCraft name throughout the Atlantic Canadian provinces.

The deal also will give Miller Tire -- a Michelin, BFGoodrich and Uniroyal brand tire dealer with 10 locations throughout Nova Scotia, Nw Brunswick and Prince Edward Island -- access to tire brands that had been previously unavailable to it, according to Miller Tire officials.

"TireCraft is a national organization with over 100 locations across Canada. It offers a proven program for independent tire dealers."

Miller Tire CEO Corey Miller believes his dealership's agreement will provide customers with "improved service, competitive pricing and greater selection through national cooperation and buying power."
