Tire Group International LLC (TGI) executives Tony Gonzalez and Joaquin Gonzalez Jr. have been honored by their alma mater, Christopher Columbus High School.
The school recently unveiled the Gonzalez Family Athletic Facility.
The Gonzalez brothers played a pivotal role in designing and equipping the center, which boasts state-of-the-art equipment and design enhancements "reflecting the Gonzalez family’s dedication to advancing student-athlete training and development," according to TGI officials.
Tony Gonzalez, TGI's CEO, says that it has been "both a blessing and a privilege to give back to Christopher Columbus High School, an institution that has profoundly shaped both my brother Joaquin and me.
"Athletics played a crucial role in our development - teaching us discipline and teamwork. We hope this new facility will help nurture the same qualities in future Columbus students."
TGI is based in Miami, Fla.
