The 12th annual California Tire Dealers Association (CTDA)/1-800EveryRim New Year Luncheon will take place in Commerce, Calif., on January 30.
“In light of the current tragedies impacting the region, CTDA leadership considered whether moving ahead with the luncheon is the responsible thing to do,” according to CTDA officials.
“Ultimately, it was decided that the luncheon presents an opportunity to come together as a community, accept donations for fire victims - especially those in the tire business - and provide support to those impacted.
“We invite you to join us, bring donations - financial or hard goods such as canned foods, blankets and towels, batteries, device chargers, first aid kits, bottled waters, packaged drinks, etc. - network with your peers and enjoy a well-prepared meal. There will also be a vendor tabletop show and our annual lively raffle.”
The event will include a panel discussion moderated by MTD Publisher Greg Smith. Panelists include Dick Gust, CEO of the Tire Industry Association (TIA); Debra Hamlin, president of TIA; and newly elected CTDA President Steve Boyajian, who owns several tire stores in the greater Los Angeles, Calif., area.
The panelists will discuss what Right to Repair means to tire dealers, efforts TIA is making to move the Right to Repair initiative forward and more.
“The 2025 luncheon is supported by Diamond sponsor Federated Insurance, luncheon founder 1-800EveryRim OEM Wheels, and sponsors Wholesale Tire Distributors, Yokohama, TireTutor, Crystal Clean, Tire Base, Myers Tire Supply, Mighty Auto Parts, NAPA Auto Parts, Optimize Digital Marketing, Independent Tire Dealers Group (ITDG), BankCard USA, and Conceptual Minds.”
The event will take place Stevens Steak & Seafood House in Commerce.
Attendance is free for CTDA members, and a handful of free spots are still available for non-member dealers, courtesy of our sponsors. Email Marc Connerly at [email protected] to register.
